Fort Lauderdale's competitive swimming heritage dates back to the grand opening of the Casino Pool on January 29, 1928. The Aquatic Complex offers two 50-meter Olympic-size pools, a diving pool, a teaching pool and a spa that you and your family can enjoy! Public lap swimming is also available 7 days a week. Times differ however, so be sure to check with the complex before heading out in your Fort Lauderdale car rental. You have the option of swimming in the 50-meter and 25-yard lanes. Lap swimming pools are maintained at a temperature of 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit. Public diving is offered daily but only from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
